How much does drywall repair cost?

The price varies depending on several items, such as the size of the hole, the height of the ceiling, whether you want the sheetrock repair painted and whether you already have the matching paint or not. I have a brown stain on my ceiling. What should I do?

This is evidence of a leak. First you should turn water off to the entire house. Secondly get a bucket and set it on the floor and poke a hole in the drywall to let the water out before it causes more damage. Then you will need to find out if it's a plumbing, air conditioning or roof leak. Once the leak has been fixed, call Jennifer and we can arrange a time to get the drywall repaired. 

What is the difference between drywall and sheetrock?

There is no difference, sheetrock is a brand of drywall.

How long does sheetrock repair take?

Once again, depending on the items listed in the answer to the first question. Most jobs are able to be completed in one day. If the drywall repair is small, say up to 3'x3', it will take about three and a half hours.

Will the insulation need to be replaced?

We will know the answer to that once we have had the chance to check the ceiling. If it does, this is provided as part of the service at no extra cost.

Will I need to move anything?

As long as the room isn't cluttered, we will move things around and drape plastic over the furniture where needed.

Is it going to be messy?

It can get messy, but we have ways of containing the mess and of course, we always clean up our work area.

Can you match the existing texture and paint?

I guess the simple answer would be yes. However it is still a patch job. In some cases after we have done everything we can, the wrong lighting or age of the paint can make the repair somewhat noticeable. However, we are the best at what we do and we strive for perfection always getting as close to it as we are able.
